Kaizen was behind the ticketing operation for two of our valued clients, Southend United and Carlisle United, as they clashed in a landmark fixture on 8 November 2025.
The match, which finished 1–2 in Carlisle’s favour, featured goals from Conn-Clarke (19ʹ) and Linney (29ʹ) for Carlisle, and Austin’s reply (31ʹ) for Southend.
This was the first ever National League match to be streamed live via TikTok, opening up an entirely new way for fans to connect with National League football.
From a ticketing perspective, we handled the full away allocation digitally, ensuring smooth access for visiting supporters with no paper tickets required. That meant less friction on the day, faster entry and a seamless experience for both clubs and fans.
It was a moment that combined operational excellence, digital innovation and simplicity for the fans.
Exactly the kind of match day we aim to deliver.
The attendance was 8,847 (including 584 away fans). One of the highest home gates this season for Southend and one of the best away followings to attend Roots Hall this season.
Kaizen Managing Director, David Lynam & Chief Technology Officer, Kieran Benton were on hand to present Southend United striker Slavi Spasov with the Player of the Month award before the match.
